Chatham Main Line - London Victoria to Dover Ramsgate

East Coast Main Line (ECML)

Frankfurt High Speed

Frankfurt Koblenz

NB The Stadler Flirt is hard to drive. No more than 60% braking or you'll skid. Don't leave station until doors are indicated to be shut (flashing T becomes steady). SIFA light is hard to see and this train has less response time than most others - so just keep mashing the numberpad enter key.

Granger Heartland - Kansas to Topeka

Great Eastern Main Line (GEML)

Great Western Main Line

Hudson Line - New York Penn & Grand Central - Croton-Harmon

Hudson Line Extension & River Subdivision: New York - Albany

If using ThirdRails, with S8 stock you have to Alt T and T+U or T+O at each stop. You can close the doors early.

Karawankenbahn

Koblenz - Trier

Köln - Koblenz

London to Brighton

London Undergeround District Line

T/Op Man scenarios with S7 require you to use the "T" button at each stop including the first. You then can open the doors using buttons in the cab. NB - you may have to press the "T" button up to 4 times for it to register.

Portsmouth Direct Line - London Waterloo to Portsmouth

Salzburg - Rosenheim

Semmeringbahn

All scenarios are pretty short. No problems or issues so far...

Sherman Hill

South London Network

Washington to Baltimore

NB the ACS-64 is interesting to drive

  1. This loco is prone to wheel slip. Drive it like TSW2 Boston - that is apply 60% power up to 60 mph, then slowly go up to slightly above percentage for speed keeping under 40klbs.
  2. On signal speed changes, you have to brake to suppression - the lever almost fully forward past 95% (full service is beyond suppression) and then acknowledge. Leave in suppression until you have reached target speed. Remember to make sure power is 0 or below.
